WHAT IS THE CLEAN GENERATION MOVEMENT?
The Clean Generation Movement is a youth-led positive change movement in Papua New Guinea, founded and supported by The Voice Inc. (TVI). Its core mission is to empower young citizens to take action and contribute towards building a nation that reflects what was dreamt of by our founding fathers in the preamble of our Constitution. Through various leadership programs and initiatives, young people are empowered to become agents of change in their own communities, shifting the mindset from being mere bystanders to being confident in their purpose and contribution to their communities, country and the world. The Clean Generation is rising up to make a stand for a safe and just nation.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
We Gather
Providing opportunities for our community to gather, learn and stimulate quality discourse on issues of national importance is integral to the Clean Generation. Our people gather through small scale activities such as our Hub Events or community engagements through to larger programs such as our Speakers Series and Leadership Conferences.
When we gather, we create a safe space for all who partake in these important conversations to be heard and channel their voices to power.
We Amplify
We use different mediums of media and events to amplify the voices of our people and the important work being done by our organization and partners. These mediums include films and documentaries, podcasts, online courses, blogs and traditional form of media such as press releases, radio interviews and television features.
We believe that by amplifying voices and causes, we are able to foster debate, dialogue and create traction in order to achieve the change we want to see.
We Support
We empower our community to create positive sustainable change and achieve excellence in all that they do. Through our Clean Generation Grants Program, our leaders are able to lead and drive change projects in their communities, impacting over 38,000 people in 16 provinces since the programs inception in 2019.
Our support also extends beyond community initiatives and into learning institutions through our Scholarships program. Since 2023 this program has enabled us to pay tuitions and provide mentoring for over 13 scholars.
We take Action
We recognize the importance of taking action and ensure that we not only promote tangible steps to create change but also support the agency of our community to act. We believe that taking action can be done in many ways, whether we are supporting petitions, participating in peaceful demonstrations, connecting voice to power or advocating for policy reform at a national level.
Through the Clean Generation, our community is able to find likeminded individuals and utilize our resources to mobilize action in all levels of society.

WHAT IS THE CLEANGEN ACADEMY?
The CleanGen Academy (CGA) is the official online learning platform of the Clean Generation Movement. The CGA offers various leadership courses as well as tools and resources that enable members of the CleanGen Community to take action in their respective communities and influence positive change.
The CleanGen Academy is available to all members who can sign up for free and start engaging with the learning materials as well as our community of leadership experts. It provides a leadership pathway from learning institutions to actual real-world challenges in the professional workforce.
