Join our PDIA Cohort of Developmental Leaders

Applications are now open for the fourth Problem Driven Iterative Adaptation (PDIA) program, delivered as part of TVI’s Local Leadership and Collective Action program, supported by the Australian Government.

PDIA is delivered with the Harvard Kennedy School’s Building State Capability Team, led by Professor Matt Andrews and will run from August to November 2025.

Application Information

In 2025, TVI is accepting applications from a small number of teams who are working on a problem or reform that aligns with a TVI coalition or strategic priority issue which are:

·       Sorcery accusation related violence

·       Youth opportunities

·       Safety and security

·       Education and literacy

·       Democracy and elections

·       Economic empowerment

·       Maintaining and strengthening PNG ways

Teams will need to meet the following selection criteria:

  1. Team has a clear reform objective or an issue or problem to solve

  2. The issue links to a TVI coalition or priority issue

  3. Teams include 5-6 people, already working together or able to collaborate closely through the program

  4. Teams have the right experience and influence to address their issue

  5. Teams are able to commit to 8 hours a week work over a 12 week program and have the capacity to complete online studies
