The CleanGen scholarship focuses on nourishing academic pursuits of young active citizens whom despite socio-economic challenges, continue to initiate positive integral development in their communities. Pertaining to learning, teaching, research, community engagement and active citizenship this scholarship aims to enhance access to quality of holistic higher education. Scholarship prerequisite and requirement advocate for academic merit, minority inclusion and sound citizenship values.

The scholarship is a three-year in-country university scholarship, subject to its terms and conditions. Applicants must be full-time current undergraduate students in a partnered TVI university. Partnering universities include the PNG University of Technology, University of Goroka, University of Natural Resources and Environment, University of Papua New Guinea, and Western Pacific University.
